That is precisely what the Silkworm geocomposite is like! It is used for protection in inverted roof systems, so-called green roofs.
Atus Silkworm
Drainage geocomposite consisting of a drainage core in the form of dimpled membranes welded to filtration geotextile. The geotextile extends beyond the drainage core, forming a pocket to place the perforated pipe that drains away water.

Efficiency and reliability
Our geocomposites provide separation, filtration and drainage for comprehensive moisture protection of your project. Since the geotextile prevents soil grains from entering the drainage core, the Silkworm geocomposite is resistant to colmatation (clogging).
Convenient installation
The layer of embossed HDPE film is connected with the geotextile by welding to create a permanent joint that can withstand the operating conditions. At the same time, the layers can be separated during installation and glued back together after, for example, the installation of the drainage tube.
